Last year, Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) – Tampa Bay worked with over 3,500 youth sports coaches. Through educational workshops, PCA helped these coaches understand the value of being a Double-Goal Coach® and provided them with tips and tools on how to help individuals and teams pursue mastery. A Double-Goal Coach (1)
teaches kids to strive to win and (2) also focuses on teaching life lessons. With local support from Weatherford Capital, select coaches will win $500 and the opportunity to be highlighted within PCA – Tampa Bay’s communication channels. Local winners will also be eligible for the national nonprofit’s Regional, National and
Coach of the Year awards.

“There are many coaches who have positively impacted the kids they mentor” said Mason Brady, PCA – Tampa Bay’s Executive Director, “and sports can be one of the greatest teachers of life lessons and character. PCA wants to recognize amazing coaches and we are thankful to have the support of Drew Weatherford, his brothers, and all of Weatherford Capital.”
