The evening's highlight was honoring Big Ten Conference Commissioner Kevin Warren with PCA-Chicago’s “Triple-Impact Executive Award” for excellence in sports leadership and for exemplifying how life lessons learned in youth sports can translate to career success. In an interview with Dave, Commissioner Warren shared the life-changing event he experienced as an 11-year-old that would eventually shape the leader he would become in business and in life. Kevin shared his thoughts on the state of youth sports today, the role the Big Ten Conference can play as well as key initiatives the conference is currently leading on behalf of student-athletes that include mental health and wellness, gender equity and social justice.
