Trey Starkey is a third generation Floridian and lifelong resident of Pasco County. Upon graduating from the University of Florida with a business finance degree in 1985 he began working in the real estate business. He has led the Starkey family in transitioning from a large cattle operation to a real estate investment business.

Currently, Trey is CEO of Starkey family real estate investments. In addition, Trey has returned to his agriculture roots by getting into the blueberry farming business.

Starkey Ranch is anticipated to be one of the leading projects in the Tampa Bay area over the next couple decades. The Starkey Family Mission Statement “To maintain a family legacy of foresight and partnership with the land, balancing environmental, financial and social stewardship” provides solid guidance for the family investments.

Trey and the Starkey Family remain committed to making Pasco County a better place and improving on the wonderful quality of life that we have.

Wife:Kathryn, wife of 24+ yrs, past Pasco Cty School Board, current Pasco County Commission (Chair), many, many civic and professional boards

Kids:Lindsey (33) married to AF Major Tino Diaz, Grandsons Oliver & Emmerson

Hunter(32), Zack(20) & Madi(20)

Trey is currently involved with Pasco Economic Dev. Council (past-Chair).

His past involvement includes; ULI Tampa Bay, West Pasco Little League, Upper Pinellas Little League, Eckerd Youth Alternatives, GFY United Methodist Church, Trinity Presbyterian, Suncoast/Gills Family YMCA, 7 Springs Rotary, UF Real Estate Advisory Council, Leadership Tampa Bay (past President), P/A Basin Board (Governor appointment) and head coach for over 25 youth sports teams.

Personal interests – biking (road & off-road), triathlon, snow skiing, water sports, golf, boating
