Scott Nenninger

SVP Partnerships, Intersport

Local Board Member, Chicago

Growing up on the athletic fields of St. Louis, Scott was an incredibly fortunate recipient of positive coaching from several amazing role model father figures, which helped shape a dynamic career path after having hung up his cleats. Knowing not everyone gets so lucky, and with the perspective of guiding a pair of young boys to engage in youth sports over the coming years, those were the two core reasons Scott said “yes” to an invitation to join the PCA-Chicago board.

Having spent most of his 20-year career designing, selling and activating integrated sports marketing and sponsorship programs for brands and properties, in 2018 Scott shifted back into the sports marketing agency world, and now serves as the Senior Vice President, Partnerships for Intersport (www.intersportnet.com). His role with the PCA is focused on helping grow its roster of corporate partners and supporting hometown marketing efforts, with a passion for engaging in Chicago’s lesser-resourced communities.

Scott lives in West Town with his wife, Meghan and two sons, Jordan and Jacob. He is a graduate of the University of Missouri, where he studied Journalism/Advertising and spent four years working with the MU Sports Information Department, Show-Me State Games and USA Today Sports.

Outside of work, Scott is a novice golfer and recreational triathlete, bleeds Cardinals red & Blues blue and coaches a number of NFPs on P2P fundraising and sponsorship development while serving as the Vice President of Renew Chicago, the philanthropic/service arm of Park Community Church.
