Kim is a Certified Mental Performance Consultant by the Association for Applied Psychology and the Founder of The Mental Edit. The Mental Edit helps athletes and their influencers -- parents and coaches -- reach performance potential and enjoyment in sport by developing a purposeful mindset and environment. Kim was an Athletic and Academic All-American and a finalist for the Hermann Trophy in Soccer (awarded to the top collegiate player in the country) while playing for the University of Virginia.  She played in the United States Women's National Team player pool from 1993 - 1995 and played for professional team, Puck Deventer, in the Netherlands. She currently resides in her hometown, Rockville Centre, NY, where she coached her daughters youth soccer and lacrosse teams. She's also a proud founding member of Diversity in RVC where youth of color are exposed to sports and supported logistically and financially to play at the club level.
